Me and "Faith"...
My passion in life has always been “to create”… anything, anyhow, anyway. I’ve been blessed with a beautiful family and with certain creative talents developed over time. My family and my time creating are of utmost importance to me. The love I feel and receive from both is nothing short of a beautiful blessing, truly!
I am a fifty-something “salty” girl born and raised in southern New Jersey. Yes, I’m a “Jersey Girl”! I’ve been married 28 years (and counting) to my hometown sweetheart, Tom. In fact, our first kiss was at the Jersey shore… Cape May to be exact! We have two beautiful children, Luke and Olivia, ages 24 and 20. We have lived in 3 other states along the way, and have returned to and now reside in our favorite one… Florida!

I am a former middle school and special ed teacher not to mention a total volunteer junkie when my kids were in school.

I absolutely, unequivocally and without a doubt LOVE the beach! LOVE IT! It is a love I cannot explain other than to say… it is where my heart and soul find the most peace and the place I experience God’s presence best.
My inspiration...
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

But there is even a greater love I have. And without that love, I would not have the ability to love the way I do. And that love is the one I have for The Creator, The Lord Jesus Christ! And it was He, Himself who called us to be salty! Did you know that?

My testimony (in a nutshell)…​
My life has been a journey full of highs and lows, good and bad, smiles and tears. Over the years, I’ve tried numerous businesses, jobs, creative outlets and more looking for total and complete satisfaction and success. I never found it.
What I did find is that although I learned a lot and worked hard, I could not succeed on my own, and through a very special person’s prayers (love you, mom), I found and accepted what would make my life more complete, more peaceful, more rewarding and I went for it, for Him! I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior! I decided to give my life and all its craziness to Him. We’ll talk more about that as time goes on.

Since that time, I’ve prayed through many years of growing, teaching, “wife”-ing, “mommy”-ing, working and creating. I prayed for many years that I would find my purpose, my fit in His Kingdom on earth. In His perfect timing… it has arrived!

“Salty Girl Living” is my dream and purpose come true.
My goal...
My goal is to inspire you and women of all ages and stages to find AND use your unique, God given creativity for His glory and your freedom! How? By inspiring and encouraging you through DIY art and craft lessons, recipes, devotionals (known here as “sea-votionals”), prayer and whatever else God has for us.
